San Diego Comic Con is just around the corner, and NECA has a few good surprises in store for fans who can make it. First up is their limited Bronze Conan.

The Bronze Conan will be the first official Conan the Barbarian action figure release and features an exclusive display base and bronze sword. Take a look at the first exclusive photos of the mighty Cimmerian in packaging and be sure to check back at NECAonline for the latest Comic Con Exclusive updates and more!

But that’s not all NECA has in store for those lucky enough to go to the SDCC. Fans of Gears of War will be happy to see the COG equivalent of a red shirt, Carmine, at the NECA booth that weekend. Sadly, I won’t be there, but that’s not going to stop me from making sure I get my hands on one of these.

A few weeks ago, NECAonline jump-started its coverage of the upcoming San Diego Comic Con ExclusivesGears of War‘s Delta Squad: Anthony Carmine. Today, we revisit the fan favorite as we unveil packaging images of this anxiously awaited new figure! Featuring the all-new Gnasher Shotgun and his Lancer Rifle, Carmine is certain to be a hit in San Diego! Take a look at the completed figure and make sure to check back at NECAonline for the latest San Diego Comic Con Exclusive updates and more!

But this article isn’t just about SDCC exclusives. NECA will be bringing black and white variants of their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to stores later this summer. The sculpts are great, and I’ve been holding off getting the painted figures to grab this bunch.

In the past few weeks, NECAonline‘s revealed the complete Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Series 1.5 Action Figures in classic Black & White! Today, we’re highlighting the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Series 1.5 Box Set, featuring all four Turtles and their core weapons. Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael hit shelves next month, but for now take a look at the first official images of the Black & White Box Set in packaging. As always, be sure to check back at NECAonline for the latest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles updates and more!

Activision and McFarlane Toys partnered up to bring us figures based on Guitar Hero, and now they’ve announced a line of figures based on Activision’s upcoming Call of Duty: World at War. These figures are pretty generic military types, but the sculpts look great. Aside from the lackluster looking Guitar Hero figures, one thing you can always count on with McFarlane is the level of detail in the figures.

McFarlane Toys announces a partnership with Activision to produce action figures for the upcoming video game, Call of Duty®: World at War. The line is expected to hit store shelves in fall 2008, and retail for around $10- $15.

Developed by Treyarch and built using the Call of Duty® 4: Modern Warfare™ engine, Call of Duty: World at War thrusts players into the chaos of WWII combat, challenging them to band together to survive the climactic battles of the South Pacific and European theaters that led to the demise of the Axis powers. Re-defining WWII by offering an uncensored experience with unique enemies and combat tactics, Call of Duty: World at War offers cooperative gameplay, a franchise first which enables players to fight together like never before.

McFarlane Toys’ first series of highly detailed, game-accurate Call of Duty: World at War action figures will consist of four soldiers:

MARINE CORPS WITH FLAMETHROWER, Battle of Peleliu – Includes M2-2 flamethrower with removable flame, and M1911A1 pistol & holster

MARINE INFANTRY, Battle of Peleliu – Includes M1 Garand rifle and M1 bayonet

MARINE CORPS WITH MACHINE GUN, Battle of Okinawa – Includes M-1928A1 machine gun w/20 round magazine and M1911A1 pistol & holster

BRITISH SPECIAL OPS, Battle for the Roer Triangle – Includes Mark II Sten gun

Look for Call of Duty: World at War action Series 1 to reach stores in November.

I’m looking forward to the Carmine and TMNT figures. I probably won’t get the bronze Conan, but when the regular paint application hits stores, I may just have to pick one up. What about you?
