The Quarter Bin

Videos, Reviews, and Previews For Comic Fans

We’re not there, but boy do we wish we were. We’ll be scouring the interwebs to provide recaps on the important things learned the previous day at SDCC. Hit the jump to see if anything good happened on Thursday.

There wasn’t a whole lot to report in the comic world yesterday. What was announced was pretty cool though. Agents of Atlas will be returning with an ongoing series. I think this is by far the best announcement of the show thus far. The mini was a delight, and quite frankly the team behind it deserves a chance to make an ongoing.

There was also the annoucement of Geoff Johns and Ethan Van Sciver teaming back up for Flash: Rebirth. It was obvious Ethan was working on something Flash related since Wizard World Philly, and he even told me he was working on a six-issue series with Geoff due out by the end of the year. It’s not like everyone didn’t see this coming anyway. I personally look forward to what these guys have planned for the whole Flash corner of the DCU.

Marvel also showcased a little preview art of the previously announced What If? featuring the Runaways and Young Avengers. I want this now. Please. Thank you.

Without any further ado, here are two Red Sonja teaser posters. I think Rodriguez and McGowan may just be able to pull this off.

We’ll have more recaps for you as the weekend rolls on, so stay tuned.

Haha, same here with the SDCC. I’m aiming to make the big trip next year with a bunch of people.

I like the second Red Sonja poster but that first one worries me.
