Baltimore Comic Con 08: The Kirkman/Bendis Panel
The Bendis vs Kirkman panel was easily the highlight of this year’s Baltimore Comic Con. Both gentlemen are respected writers in the industry with different ideas on how to succeed in comics. In his Jerry Maguire-like manifesto, Robert Kirkman set the internet ablaze with opinions on whether or not his ideas on creator owned work were true. One of his most vocal opponents was Brian Bendis, who made no bones about his feelings on his Jinxworld messageboard. When word came that there would be a debate between the two at this year’s Baltimore Comic Con, you had to know Gamervision and TheQuarterbin were going to be there to document it all for you guys. We had it up on Gamervision all week, but are just now getting the video over here thanks to YouTube and their strange policies.
