There’s a few new comic art images for the upcoming PlayStation exclusive shooter, Punisher: No Mercy, courtesy of Marvel.com. Apparently Mike Deodato is the concept artist behind the game’s story mode. Hit the jump for a look at what you can expect when you get the game.

These images show several characters you can expect to run into while dealing out fresh, hot vengeance, in addition to showing just how violent you can expect the game to be. Villains Finn Cooley and the Baracuda will make appearances, as well as sometime ally Silver Sable.

These images are just the first of many, according to Marvel, and I’m liking what I’m seeing so far. What I first thought was just going to be a multiplayer only game is now shaping up to be more of a full fps experience. Even if the story is told just in voice-over and these still shots, I’m sure it will be more than serviceable. Still no actual date for release, but with the movie due to hit in December, the game can’t be that far behind. We’ll have more on the game as it breaks, so be sure to stay tuned.
