Marvel’s January 2009 Solicitations – Single Issues

Top Cow Announces The Darkness: Accursed Trade
Top Cow has some good news for fans of The Darkness, new and old: the upcoming Accursed trade paperback will be sold at the discounted price point of $4.99. This means there is absolutely no reason for you to start reading the tales of Jackie Estacado, or at least get caught up if you’ve been away for awhile. The trade will be in stores next month. New Punisher: No Mercy Images

There’s a few new comic art images for the upcoming PlayStation exclusive shooter, Punisher: No Mercy, courtesy of Marvel.com. Apparently Mike Deodato is the concept artist behind the game’s story mode. Hit the jump for a look at what you can expect when you get the game.

Our friends at Top Cow have announced that Witchblade – The Anime Series is now available on iTunes. A collaboration between Top Cow and Japanese Studio Gonzo, the series puts a new spin on the Witchblade mythology, introducing new characters and original storylines. You’ve no doubt seen how much I love Scalped from various posts on TheQuarterbin. Lucky for me, Jason Aaron agreed to do an interview about his creator-owned Vertigo book. Scalped is the story of Dashiel Badhorse, a man who returns to his reservation after a long absence to try and right the wrongs of his past.
