NYCC 09: Saturday Recap

Posted by Sarah LeBoeuf On February - 8 - 2009

Saturday was even busier than Friday at New York Comic Con, and we’ve got the hands-on and panel coverage to prove it. Hit the jump for a wrap-up of what we did on NYCC Day Two.

We started off the day at the Atari booth, where I got to play Ghostbusters on the Wii. Coop played a couple other Atari games, which you’ll hear more about in the coming days. After getting to see Batman movie producer Michael Uslan talk, I headed over to the Penny Arcade panel, which was hilarious, as always. Then it was time to grab some overpriced convention pizza, devour it quickly, and get back on the floor.

The afternoon was chock full of panels; Luke and I between us attended DC Universe, Marvel’s Cup O’ Joe, and Top Cow Presents Berserker. I also got a chance to talk to Milo Ventimiglia, Russ Cundiff, Rick Loverd, and Jeremy Haun after the panel, so look for that interview this week. Meanwhile, Luke was talking to the guys being DCU Online, so those interviews should be something to see, as well. To close out the night, Coop went to the Gears of War panel.

Now we’re heading out to cover the last day of NYCC. It’s a shorter day with less panels, but we still have plenty to do. Keep coming back all week as we get all of our Comic Con coverage and video footage up on the site.
