NYCC 09: Sunday Recap

Posted by Sarah LeBoeuf On February - 9 - 2009

Our last day at New York Comic Con may have been shorter, but that doesn’t mean we didn’t get as much coverage as we could squeeze in. Hit the jump to read all about how we closed out the show.

The morning started off with an interview with Penny Arcade’s Gabe and Tycho, followed by some hands-on time with Wanted: Weapons of Fate. Then it was time to hit some panels: Marvel/Activision, Scott Pilgrim, and Mondo Marvel. There was no time for lunch, but we did actually get to hit the floor to do some shopping for the first time all weekend. Did I spend more money than I should have? Probably. Do I regret it? Nope.

While Coop got some more hands-on coverage of the show’s games, and Luke did some interviews (more on all of that to come), I had my second annual NYCC chat with Rob Reger. Then it was time to hit the road and get back home. The weekend was long, and we were tired, but I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Well, everything except ordering so much food at the Longhorn Steakhouse on the way home. We were famished, but our eyes were bigger than our stomachs.

We may be back at Quarterbin HQ, but we aren’t nearly done posting everything we saw. Check back during the week for videos and interviews, and get all of your NYCC gaming news over on Gamervision. Thanks for a great weekend, New York!
