Samuel Jackson Signs Nine Picture Deal For Marvel
According to the Hollywood Reporter Marvel’s made theirs Samuel L. Jackson. For at least nine movies anyhow. The deal involves Jackson reprising his role as Nick Fury in the forthcoming Iron Man 2, Captain America, Thor, and Avengers movies, and the subsequent sequels. The report also mentions the possibility of Jackson starring in a stand-alone S.H.I.E.L.D. film.
I’m glad that his contract issues are over, and it’s nice to see that Marvel is committed to keeping all their Marvel Studios films tied together. I’m curious to see just who’s going to be cast in the major roles of their Thor and Captain America movies, but with their recent track record of getting top notch talent, I’m not too worried. Now get out there and sign that Mickey Rourke deal.
