Rumor: Marvel MMO Coming in 2012?

Even though Marvel and Gazillion just partnered up, the two companies are setting dates for comic fans around the world to start requesting vacation time. The planned Marvel MMO is set to release in the year 2012, right around the time the Avengers movie hits screens. Read the rest of this entry »

Is This The Next Green Lantern?
Several sources apparently have placed Chris Pine (Star Trek, Smoking Aces) as the frontrunner for the role of test pilot/ring-slinger Hal Jordan in the upcoming film, Green Lantern. Whether or not this guy has the chops to pull of Hal Jordan is up for debate, but he does have the fact that JJ Abrams cast him as men of men, Captain James Tiberius Kirk, in his relaunch of the Star Trek film series. He’s certainly got the look, only time will tell if he’s got the bravado.

Top Cow and Mayhem Comics Partnering for Subscription Service

Top Cow announced today that they will be teaming up with Mayhem Comics to offer a subscription service to all of their fans. The service will allow Top Cow’s comics to be shipped directly to readers, which is helpful to those without a local comic shop. Hit the jump for the full press release.
