The Quarter Bin

DC unveiled two more characters we can expect to rise from the dead during this summer’s Blackest Night event. One we already sort of knew about, the other though… just read on.

Alright, so Martian Manhunter was revealed ala DC Direct’s solicitations for an upcoming line of Green Lantern figures. He’s cool and all, and I’m glad to see that there will apparently be no sacred cows, but his announcement isn’t the one that caught my attention. The teaser image on the right certainly has my interest piqued. If you’re wondering, yes, it is Firestorm. Like me, I hope you’re wondering how they’re going to explain how a being completely made of energy comes back as a zombie-esque villain. Certainly looks pretty cool though. That just goes to show how amazingly talented Ivan Reis is.

Anywho, I’m really stoked for this event to start, and hope The Source unveils a few more teasers before everything kicks off.
