Diablo Creator Joins Marvel MMO Team
Gazillion, the studio that picked up the rights to a Marvel MMO, has made an announcement that not only legitimizes the project, but also adds a serious heavy hitter to the development team.
Gazillion Entertainment announced today that former President of Blizzard North, David Brevik, has joined as Studio Director for Gargantuan studios, the development team in charge of the Marvel Universe MMO. Brevik is the man responsible for the creation of the Diablo series, one of the most financially and critically successful PC franchises of all time. A huge talent like this really gives the project legitimacy, and should create some much-needed buzz around the underpublicized project.

At this week’s San Diego Comic-Con, Brevik will be participating in a Q&A entitled “The State of MMOs: A Discussion with the Developer,” and discussing the game. We’ll keep you updated with any news or info that comes out of that discussion.
