More than fifty digital comics, including the complete “Enemy of the State”/”Agent of SHIELD” storyline from Wolverine, arrive on this week’s PlayStation Comic update.

There’s a heaping helping of Marvel comics worth checking out this week on the PlayStation comic store. Most notably, Mark Millar and John Romita Jr.’s run on Wolverine, which was a great action-filled romp through the Marvel Universe. Seriously, if you haven’t read that by now, and were looking for something that wasn’t steeped in tons of continuity, but was still a great read, you should totally check those twelve comics out. You’ve also got six issues of the Incredible Hulk, including the opening arc of “Planet Hulk,” which for all intents an purposes is one of the best storylines of the past decade. You could also check out some great Joe Madureira art on the “Age of Apocalypse” version of Astonishing X-Men, but that’s only if you’ve got a craving for some mid-90s super-heroics that take place in an alternate reality.

I’m dying to know why more publishers aren’t putting their products out digitally. I know that it will cost more money to translate everything to such a radically different form of reading, but it would do the PlayStation comic store well to get more variety in the selection. Not that the things they have now aren’t worth reading, but there’s often an overwhelming amount of Marvel recommendations every week, and it would be nice to see people who only get their comics in this format see what other major publishers are offering. In the meantime, you can take a look at the full list of this week’s comics below.
