Can anybody keep a secret anymore? Though it’s been rumored to be in development seemingly forever, today we find out that Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is really real. For real this time.

Despite being heavily embargoed by Capcom, the trailer for MvC3 leaked this morning to the delight of eager fighting fans across the globe. Even though it’s chock full of mostly returning characters, we do get a glimpse at Chris Redfield in his Resident Evil 5 uniform fighting the Hulk. Everything is seemingly running on the SFIV engine, which is likely to annoy some people, but makes me happy. I love that art style, and can’t wait to see the dozens of Marvel characters rendered in-game. I expect there to be a lot more actual information released later today on both of these titles, and look forward to seeing just who’s going to make the roster for MvC3, then griping about why “X” character should be in there instead of “Y” character.
