Ron Marz has been helping to shape up the Top Cow Universe for the better part of the last few years. We talked with the writer about what it was like to write Witchblade, Velocity, Artifacts, Magdalena, and more, at New York Comic Con.

Responsible for the current crossover event Artifacts, the company’s flagship title Witchblade, among a handful of other books, Ron Marz is the guiding force of an entire universe. At NYCC, I had a chance to talk with one of my all-time favorite writers about writing so many strong female leads, what makes Artifacts a great starter book, and what it’s like to work with so many great artists.
