Nerds
Luke

Luke’s the kind of guy who can’t remember a time in his life when he wasn’t reading comics. He remembers clutching issues of John Romita JR penciled Uncanny X-Men issues with the tiniest of hands. Of course, at this point in his life, allegiances seem petty, and he follows as many books and creators as his paycheck will allow. Aside from an unhealthy obsession with Green Lantern and Captain America, you could find Luke browsing every shelf at the comic shop just to see if there’s something new and exciting that he hasn’t delved into yet. His weekly What to Watch for Wednesday column should give you an insight as to what books he’s currently enjoying, and if you’re curious about what else he might like, don’t be afraid to ask. He’ll probably prattle on for a few hours before realizing you’ve walked away.
Sarah

Sarah has spent most of her life as a giant nerd. She tried to fight it in her younger years, but eventually she grew to accept her fate. Her love of Star Wars, video games, comic books, and Dungeons and Dragons ensures that it will be a cold day in hell before she loses her status as total geek. Luckily, she spends her days surrounded by other total geeks, so she’s not too heartbroken about it.
Sarah got back into reading comics a few years ago and hasn’t stopped since. Some of her favorites, both current and past, include Fables, Y: The Last Man, Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 8, Crossed, Queen & Country, Runaways, Emily the Strange, and far too many others to remember right now. She also spends entirely too much time playing video games, both next-gen and old-school. She enjoys obsessively watching Lost, being a crazy cat lady, and eating tacos when she’s not writing for Gamervision.com and The Quarterbin.
