About Us
The Quarter Bin started out as a humble comics blog, a smaller part of a bigger website. It is now 100% contributor-owned, and has evolved into a standalone website covering many facets of geek culture. Led by Editor-in-Chief and comic junkie Luke Brown, our contributors are lifelong nerds whose interests range from video games to tabletop gaming to sci-fi movies to comic books and everything in between.
Stick around for news, previews, reviews, interviews, videos, and editorials from all of these industries, with a focus on comics and gaming. Our goal is to provide a unique point of view and plenty of original content you can’t find anywhere else. We also provide unbiased reviews of comics, movies, and video games by writers with a strong working knowledge of those industries.
Bookmark us to see what’s happening, and keep in touch on Facebook and Twitter (@TheQuarterBin) while you’re at it. It’s a whole new era for The Quarter Bin, and we’re thrilled to be a part of it. We hope you will be, too.
Staff
Luke Brown, Editor-in-Chief
Eat. Sleep. Breathe. Comics. That’s the mantra Luke’s lived by since the day he was old enough to turn the pages of his very first issue of Uncanny X-Men. Since catching his break when asked to create a comic blog companion site for an upstart gaming website, Luke has been on a mission trying to spread the word about comics to whoever will listen. Now teamed with the incredible staff of The Quarter Bin, there are few things that will stop him from converting even the staunchest of non-believers into comic book fans.
