Luke’s the kind of guy who can’t remember a time in his life when he wasn’t reading comics. He remembers clutching issues of John Romita JR penciled Uncanny X-Men issues with the tiniest of hands. Of course, at this point in his life, allegiances seem petty, and he follows as many books and creators as his paycheck will allow. Aside from an unhealthy obsession with Green Lantern, the X-Man Cyclops, and Captain America, you could find Luke browsing every shelf at the comic shop just to see if there’s something new and exciting that he hasn’t delved into yet. Recently, Luke has started exploring manga, and wants you to be just as blown away by Vagabond, Pluto, and Gantz as he is. His weekly What to Watch for Wednesday and Digital Comic Update columns should give you an insight as to what books he’s currently enjoying, and if you’re curious about what else he might like, don’t be afraid to ask. He’ll probably prattle on for a few hours before realizing you’ve walked away.
